Two new tropical depressions form in West Pacific
Two new tropical depressions form in West pacific area. Tropical depression 26W formed off coast of Vietnam in South China Sea and heading toward Malaysia and Indonesia and tropical depresion 27 W is formed near Guam in Philippine Sea and heading toward Philippines.
Tropical depression 26 (TD26W) is located 270 nm southeast of Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam and moving to southwest at speed of 11knots. Recent animated infrared satellite view show an ill-defined low level circulation center (LLCC) with convective clusters arranged in an unorganized manner over the peripheries of the LLCC according top JTWC. TD26 is encountering increased moderate southerly vertical windshear (15-20 knots). Maximum significant wave height today is 13 feet.
Tropical depression 27W (TD27W) is located 415 nm south of Andersen Air Base in Guam and moving west with speed of 18 knots according to JTWC. Maximum significant wave height is 9 feet.
