Send us your reports
Have information about a significant natural event or unusual sky phenomenon in your area? Use this form to share a report from your city, region, or country with The Watchers editorial team.
We review submitted reports for potential coverage, verification, and follow-up. Reports may include earthquakes, volcanic activity, severe weather, floods, wildfires, landslides, unusual atmospheric or sky phenomena, and other events of public interest.
What to include
To help us verify and assess the report, please include as much of the following as possible:
- Exact location, including city, region, and country
- Date and local time of the event
- What happened and how long it lasted
- Observed impacts, such as damage, flooding, ashfall, power outages, evacuations, injuries, or disruptions
- Links to photos, videos, public posts, official alerts, or local reports
- Whether you witnessed the event directly or are sharing information from another source
Please do not put yourself in danger to collect information, photos, or video. If there is an immediate threat to life or property, contact local emergency services first.
Thank you for helping us monitor significant events around the world. Local observations can provide early context, especially during fast-moving natural hazards and events that are not yet widely reported.
