Security camera captures landslide dragging vehicles into a river, Thailand

Heavy rains caused a part of the riverbank of the Chao Phraya River in Chai Nat, Thailand, to collapse on June 10, 2024, dragging several vehicles and a carport into the river. The landslide, captured on a security camera, occurred behind a line of trees along the riverbank.

As the initial landslide began, several vehicles were dragged towards the river. People nearby initially thought the event had concluded; however, shortly after the first slide, another landslide occurred, this time dragging an entire carport into the river. No injuries were reported.

Police said 3 cars, 5 motorcycles, and 5 bicycles ended up in the river.
