Massive thunderstorm hits Manipur, leaves entire state without power, 3 people dead and over 50 injured, India

A massive thunderstorm swept over the Indian state of Manipur during the early morning hours of April 15, leaving at least 3 people dead and over 50 injured.
The worst affected were the districts of Bishnupur, Churachandpur and Kakching.
Powerful winds produced by the storm destroyed homes, school buildings and downed trees and power poles, leaving the entire state without power. The Nagaland Post said power supply resumed during the afternoon hours at several places, including Imphal.

2 persons were killed in a cyclone that lashed parts of #Manipur causing heavy destruction on Monday morning.

At least three people were killed.
Two women died after the house they were in was destroyed. Another woman died after a big banyan tree fell down on her tea stall.
