Deadly landslide hits San Marcos La Laguna, Solola, Guatemala

A destructive landslide caused by heavy rains struck the municipality of San Marcos La Laguna, Guatemala's Solola region, on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, destroying 8 homes and leaving at least 4 people dead, civil protection authorities confirmed Wednesday.
CONRED regional delegate Sandino Monzón said 10 people were injured, adding that rescue operations continue at the scene.
