A powerful dust devil formed in the city of Fairfield, Solano County, California on April 9, 2019 and was captured on video.

The twister was strong enough to rip off part of the roof of one building and send debris flying everywhere.

Dust devils are small but vigorous whirlwinds. While they usually last up to several minutes, they can cause damage and death as reported on March 31 in China's Henan when it hit a playground, killing 2 children and injuring 20.
