Bright fireball recorded over Spain
A bright fireball was recorded streaking through the night sky over Spain at 04:17 UTC on April 1, 2018.
The meteor overflew the provinces of Granada, Almería and Murcia.
It began over the province of Granada at a height of around 97 km (60 miles) and ended over Murcia at an altitude of about 29 km (18 miles).
The event was recorded in the framework of the SMART Project (University of Huelva) from the astronomical observatories of Calar Alto (Almería), La Sagra (Granada), La Hita (Toledo) and Sevilla.
