Severe hailstorms struck the Altiplano region of Murcia, Spain, on May 10, 2025, and continued in the following days, causing widespread agricultural damage across nearly 40 000 ha (98 840 acres). The storms caused an estimated €80 million in losses, particularly affecting the municipalities of Yecla and Jumilla.
