An intense hailstorm struck Spain’s Málaga region on March 25, 2025, with Alhaurín el Grande reported as the worst-affected area.
Yellow warnings were issued early on March 25 for areas between Málaga, Costa del Sol, and the Guadalhorce Valley by La Agencia Estatal de Meteorología (Aemet), the Spanish meteorological agency.
The storm brought significant precipitation, with multiple areas reporting hail accumulation that covered streets and vehicles.
The storm brought significant rainfall to multiple areas, including Fuengirola and Manilva.
