NWS confirms 4 tornadoes from July 16 storms in Wisconsin
The National Weather Service confirmed that at least 4 tornadoes touched down in Wisconsin amid storms on July 16, 2025, including an EF-1 near Dodgeville.

A tornado was reported at 12:24 local time (LT) northeast of Dodgeville on July 16. The National Weather Service (NWS) survey team rated it as an EF-1.
It began near the intersection of Highway YZ and Z and ended near Knobs Road at approximately 12:40 LT. The tornado produced maximum winds of 152 km/h (95 mph), damaging trees and outbuildings.
An EF-0 tornado touched down southwest of Hustisford with estimated winds of 113 km/h (70 mph). It began near the intersection of County Road E and West Hillcrest Road at 15:22 LT on July 16, according to the NWS. It ended near Grey Road and Wildcat Road northeast of Hustisford at 15:36 LT.

Another EF-0 tornado briefly touched down near Beaver Dam with winds reaching approximately 105 km/h (65 mph). The tornado was reported at 14:59 LT, affecting cornfields and tree lines near Buckhorn Road and Breezy Point Road.

A fourth tornado was confirmed near Mazomanie. Rated an EF-0, it began near the intersection of Racek Road and WI-78 at 13:15 LT. The tornado had maximum winds of 129 km/h (80 mph), with damage to trees and shingles reported.
