Asteroid 2020 KC5 to flyby Earth at 0.96 LD

A newly-discovered asteroid designated 2020 KC5 will flyby Earth at a distance of 0.96 LD / 0.00248 AU (371 002 km / 230 530 miles) at 20:46 UTC on May 29, 2020. This is the 44th known asteroid to flyby Earth within 1 lunar distance since the start of the year and the 6th so far this month.
The object belongs to the Apollo group of asteroids and was first observed at Pan-STARRS 2, Haleakala, Hawaii on May 26, 3 days before its close approach.
It has an estimated diameter between 9.1 and 20 m (30 – 95 feet).
