Record May rainfall in Paris, France

Almost an entire monthly average of rainfall fell on French capital Paris from Friday to Saturday, May 10 into 11, 2019.
According to French weather channel La Chaine Météo, Paris recorded 43.8 mm (1.72 inches) of rain in that period. The average rainfall for the whole of the month of May in the region is 57 mm (2.24 inches).
In total, since the beginning of the month, nearly 80 mm (3.14 inches) of rain was recorded in the city, The Local reports.
Combs-la-ville in the Seine-et-Marne department recorded an all-time high for May rainfall on Saturday, May 11 with 59.6 mm (2.34 inches) in 24 hours.
