A severe hailstorm struck La Roda, Albacete Province in southeastern Spain at around 18:00 LT on June 15, 2025, bringing 70 mm (2.7 inches) of rainfall within 15 minutes and hailstones up to 4 cm (1.6 inches) in diameter. It is still ongoing as of June 16.
A severe hailstorm damaged 12 360 ha (30 550 acres) of crops in the provinces of Valencia and Castellón, with estimated losses of €7.6 million. Vineyards, almonds, olives, and citrus crops were heavily affected, particularly in the Utiel-Requena region.

The storm, which began Sunday night, October 27, led to road closures and widespread damage, including hailstones up to 5 cm (1.97 inches) in diameter.
