Earthquake 7.0 hits Vanuatu

Magnitude 7.0 earthquake hits near Anatom island, 125 km (78 miles) SSE (159°) from Isangel, Vanuatua, 215 km (134 miles) ENE (61°) from Tadine, Loyalty Islands, New Caledonia (20.585°S, 169.696°E) on depth of 132.4 km (82.3 miles) according to USGS. A destructive tsunami was not generated so there was no tsunami warnings. Specific for such deep earthquakes is that they are most of the time harmless but felt as a weak shaking in a radius of several hundred km.
