Driving through the eerie core of Typhoon “Krathon”

A video released by Earth Uncut TV captures the calm yet eerie conditions within the eye of Typhoon “Krathon” as it passed over Kaohsiung City in southern Taiwan on October 3, 2024.

A video released by Earth Uncut TV on October 5 showcased the conditions within the eye of Typhoon “Krathon” as it passed over Kaohsiung City in southern Taiwan.

James Reynolds, the creator of the video and the channel, released footage of his 29-minute drive through the core of Krathon, which made landfall in Taiwan on October 3.

Strong winds were seen throughout the city, along with mild rainfall and low visibility, due to the system. Since it was the storm’s eye passing over the city, the conditions seemed calmer compared to what is normally seen during the impact of typhoons.

James is a YouTuber who focuses on chasing hurricanes, typhoons, erupting volcanoes, and massive snow storms which he documents and publishes on his channel Earth Uncut TV.
