Tropical Storm “Noru” – known as Karding in the Philippines – formed east of the Philippines on September 22 as the 16th named storm of the 2022 Pacific typhoon season. The storm is moving WSW at 25 km/h (15 mph) and is expected to make landfall along the east coast of Aurora or the northern portion of Quezon, Luzon on September 25.
