Tornado damages vehicles and warehouses in Cangzhou, China, reports indicate two fatalities

A tornado passed near Cangzhou, Hebei Province, China, in the early afternoon of July 2, 2025, causing widespread damage in the area with reports indicating two fatalities.

Videos shared on social media showed significant damage to warehouses and vehicles as the funnel cloud swirled the debris in the area.

The tornado developed in an area affected by thunderstorms; no prior tornado warning was issued for Cangzhou.

While multiple reports confirm the occurrence of the tornado, no official statements or damage assessments from government or local meteorological authorities have been published.

Reports on social media indicate that the tornado might have been two fatalities and multiple injuries in the area, however it is yet to be confirmed. It also destroyed a house and tossed multiple vehicles.
