Manipur landslide death toll rises to 47, 14 remain missing, India

The number of people that died in the massive landslide that hit Manipur’s Noney district on June 29, 2022, rose to 47 today.
The number includes 28 Territorial Army soldiers.
An intensive search is underway for the 6th day to trace people who are still missing. Rescue workers were using sniffer dogs and radar technology to search for people still buried in the debris.
