An earthquake magnitude 6.3 struck Tonga region with epicentre 73 km (45 miles) NNE of Hihifo, Tonga and 254 km (157 miles) SW of Apia, Samoa (15.291°S, 173.618°W) at depth of 27.2 km (16.9 miles) according to USGS.
