Earthquakes 6.2 and 5.1 strike New Ireland region of Papua New Guinea

According to USGS, the double earthquakes, a 6.2 magnitude earthquake with epicentre 73 km (46 miles) S (191°) from Kavieng at depth of 34.5 km (21.4 miles) and a 5.1 magnitude earthquake struck the New Ireland region of Papua New Guinea,63 km (39 miles) SW (217°) from Kavieng at depth of 32.6 km (20.3 miles). EMSC seismographs recorded magnitude 6.3. There have been no initial reports of injuries.
