Severe dust storm turns the sky over Ain Sefra blood red, Algeria

Strong winds affecting Algeria on Sunday, May 23, 2021, picked up large amounts of dust, creating near-zero visibility across the Ain Sefra region, Naâma Province.
According to our friend, photographer Karim Bouchetata, the storm started at around 17:45 LT, quickly turning the sky over Ain Sefra into blood red.
Intense dust storm lasted for about an hour before starting to ease up.
