Photographer Adrien Mauduit put together a two-minute compilation of his best real-time sequences of the Perseid meteor shower peaking on August 12 – 13, 2018 in the Valais in Switzerland.
Did you miss it because of weather or personal reasons? Fear not, we got you covered!
In these real-time HD sequences taken with Sony a7s and Sigma 50mm f1.4 Art, you can see bright meteors with a green smokey trail burning through the night sky and some famous constellation like the Big Dipper or even the core of the milky way!
"It's amazing what technology can enable you to do now: thanks to a camera you can literally see in the dark without too much noise (no noise reduction was applied here!)," Adrien said.
"I hope you enjoyed the view as much as I enjoyed shooting at 2000 m at the Emosson Dam overlooking the Mont Blanc!"
