Large areas of northern China were covered in snow, as of October 26, 2015, media reported

Heavy snowfall hit the region of Mohe in Heilongjiang Province during early morning hours (local time) and caused traffic disruptions across the affected areas. Despite some difficulties with the traffic, the residents seemed to enjoy the wintry landscapes.

The snowfall was about 8 cm (3.14 inches) in depth by Monday late afternoon, and visibility was reported to be as low as 100 meters (328 feet). Snowplows have been quickly assigned to clean the roads to aid the traffic.

“I came from Shenzhen. I’ve never seen real snow. Today I feel very lucky. White snow wraps everything. It’ like a wonderland. It’s amazing,” said Huang Chengbo, a tourist from south China city of Shenzhen.
