An intense hailstorm hit Mexico City on June 12, 2022, causing traffic chaos and damaging the roofs of homes and businesses.
Hundreds of shoppers were evacuated after the roof of Soriana supermarket in the Mixcoac neighborhood collapsed. At least one person was injured as a result, authorities said.
