Dusty winds and heavy rain hit north Qatar
Strong winds, rain, and dense dust hit Qatar over the weekend, leading to low visibility. According to the Qatar Meteorological Department, the wave of dust came from northwestern Arabia.
The weather phenomenon was witnessed Saturday to Sunday, April 3 to 4. Heavy rains were accompanied by strong winds in several regions, including the capital Doha, while a dense dust wave caused low visibility.
Qatar Weather warned people to avoid all marine activities as the dust wave is expected until the middle of the week due to northwest winds.
