A large lahar flow formed on the slopes of Mount Semeru volcano in East Java, Indonesia during heavy rains on February 8, 2021.

The flow took place at around 08:39 UTC (15:39 WIB), sweeping away a car. Fortunately, the driver managed to get out of the vehicle and survive.
