Landslide in Visakhapatnam kills 4 people, India

A landslide at Sanjeevayyangar in Thatichetalpalem area, Visakhapatnam, India killed four people and left numerous injured on December 20, 2015.
A large boulder fell from a small hill nearby in the early morning hours (local time) and left 3 people buried alive initially, while another person died of injuries, according to the City Police Commissioner Amit Garg.

Ganta Srinivasa Rao, AP Human Resource Development Minister visited the area to provide the families living in the vicinity an alternative housing facility. He also stated the families living near dangerous hill slopes will be identified and moved to safer places.
