A tropical disturbance in the Western Pacific is about to lash the Philippine islands and will persist for several days over the area and potentially develop into a tropical cyclone.

Lisa had maximum sustained winds of 140 km/h (85 mph), making it a Category 1 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson wind scale and the first November hurricane to make landfall in Belize since 1942.
