Deadly flash floods hit Ouest Department, Haiti
At least 4 people have been killed and another four are missing after heavy rain produced severe flash flooding in Haiti's Ouest Department from June 3 to 6, 2019.
According to Directorate of Civil Protection (DPC) and media reports, roads and bridges were flooded, 547 homes damaged and as many as 17 completely destroyed in OD's communes of Cabaret, Arcahaie, Cité Soleil, Carrefour, Port-au-Prince, Tabarre and Gressier.
2 people died in Cité Soleil, 1 in Carrefour and 1 in Cabaret. 4 people are missing, 3 in Carrefour and 1 in Cabaret.
In addition, about 20 head of cattle were washed away in the city of Soleil.
