Multiple tornadoes spotted in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Severe storms dumped heavy rain and produced multiple tornadoes in Florida's Broward County on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. 

Weather officials said at least two tornadoes were spotted in Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday.

The first touched down just north of Las Olas Boulevard just after 15:36 local time while another touched down north of Interstate-595 around 16:30.

The storm also produced heavy rain and dime-sized hail, delaying flights in and out of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport up to one hour.
