Tornado hits Azul, overturning trucks and damaging farms, Argentina
A tornado reportedly hit rural areas of the city of Azul, located in the center of the Buenos Aires Province in Argentina on February 7, 2019. The worst of the damage was reported in the town of Chillar.
Eyewitnesses said the tornado lasted about 15 minutes with gusts reaching 100 km/h (62 mph). It downed power poles and overturned five trailer trucks on National Route 3 (km 332) with their drivers still inside. They were taken to the local hospital with no notable injuries.

Local disaster management office said there was a risk of electrocution because the power line fell on one of the trucks, adding this is the first reported tornado in the region.
The storm also dropped a lot of hail and heavy rain, affecting sunflower harvest in the area.
