Rare seiche at Great Lakes during the once-in-a-generation blizzard, U.S.
This footage shows the dangerous seiche or a Great Lakes storm surge on December 23, 2022, as the once-in-a-generation blizzard has begun in Downtown Buffalo, New York, U.S.
This storm surge flooding was observed at the Buffalo Naval Park, where the Sullivans are now floating in the flood waters.
The 3 m (10 feet) seiche was accompanied by winds gusting to nearly 130 km/h (80 mph).
