Heavy rains spawn deadly floods in Khenifra, massive debris flow in Al Haouz, Morocco
Torrential rains caused floods in Khenifra province, northern central Morocco on September 2, 2019, killing two people and damaging properties.
According to reports, the victims were identified as a teenage girl and an elderly man, who died in separate areas.
The 15-year old girl was knocked down by the harsh weather and strong wind in M'Rirt town. Meanwhile, the senior drowned in strong currents in Sidi Hcine, where his body was eventually found.

Violent weather conditions keep affecting several areas in Morocco. Strong rains produced massive debris flow in Imlil, Al Haouz Province on September 1, resulting in widespread damage.
Moreover, at least 8 people also died in Imi Ntiyaret municipality after storms caused flash floods in a football match on August 28.
