Destructive tornado hits northeast China's Heilongjiang

A tornado, accompanied by rainstorm, hit part of Nenjiang County, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province at around 14:40 local time on Monday, April 21, 2017, blowing away roof tiles and construction materials.

The twister was on the ground for about 10 minutes, CGTN reports. Numerous cars and over 10 buildings were damaged, but here were no casualties reported.

Muffled cries of panic from distressed witnesses can be heard in the background of the video below. Locals gathered inside away from the high winds, but captured on camera the brute force of the tornado.
