The second M-Class flare today around the new active region
The second M-class solar flare occurred today off the northeast limb at 17:20 UTC. It was measured as low-level M1.0 flare. The M1 flare was accompanied by a short duration Tenflare (10 cm Radio Burst) at levels of 140 sfu. It is a second M-class solar flare originating from new active region off northeastern limb.
M2.4 solar flare was observed today at 13:19 UTC at the same vicinity. A coronal mass ejection was later observed in LASCO C3 imagery emerging from the northeastern limb at 13:54 UTC. New region 1547 (N05E21) was numbered today and classified as a Cso type group with beta magnetic characteristics.
Region 1543 (N24W59) remained the largest group on the disk and was classified as a Cko type group with beta magnetic characteristics.
