The storm is expected to make landfall in an area close to Toliara, Madagascar during the afternoon hours (LT) of April 26, with maximum sustained winds up to 105 km/h (65 mph).
At least 137 people have been killed in floods and landslides after Tropical Cyclone “Megi” moved over the central Philippines from April 10 to 12, 2022. At least 28 others are still missing, according to official reports.
