2 570 homes damaged or destroyed by floods, Indonesia

Heavy rains affecting parts of Indonesia on September 13 and 14, 2021, caused rivers to overflow, floods and landslides.
According to the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on Disaster Management (AHA Centre), at least 11 839 people have been affected and approximately 2 570 houses have been damaged or destroyed in West Java, Papua, East Kalimantan, Banten ad Riau Provinces.1
One of the hardest-hit areas is Banten Province, where about 140 people have been displaced across Pandeglang, Serang, and Lebak Regencies.
In Papua Province, rescue operations have been hampered by damaged roads and material covering the access.
Hujan intensitas tinggi yang terjadi di Wilayah Provinsi Papua memicu terjadinya banjir di Dua Kab. yakni Kab. Kepulauan Yapen dan Kab. Nabire. Meluapnya beberapa sungai juga menjadi pemicu terjadinya banjir, Rabu (14/9) Pukul 06.00 WIT.

Tanah longsor mengakibatkan kerusakan rumah warga dengan tingkat ringan hingga sedang. Sebanyak 14 unit mengalami rusak ringan dan satu lainnya rusak sedang di beberapa kecamatan, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, Kabupaten Jawa Barat, Senin (13/9).

Banjir yang melanda sebagian wilayah kabupaten dan kota di Kalimantan Tengah sejak akhir Agustus lalu mulai surut di beberapa titik. Kondisi terakhir banjir di hampir semua wilayah Kalteng surut karena intensitas hujan yang turun berkurang.
