Massive avalanche surges down a road in Vallemaggia, Switzerland

A huge avalanche spilled over a portion of the road near the town of Campo in the mountainous region Vallemaggia, Switzerland, on November 23, 2019. The dramatic footage was posted to social media by local authorities.
The Federal Office of Meteorology had issued a Grade 4 alert for avalanches in the region, which means a strong danger may occur.
No injuries were reported.
