Bright fireball over New York and Pennsylvania, 189 reports
A bright fireball streaked through the night sky over New York and Pennsylvania, US at 02:20 UTC on November 11, 2017 (21:20 EST, November 10) and was seen by numerous witnesses. The event lasted up to 3 seconds.
The American Meteor Society (AMS) received 189 reports by 12:00 UTC on November 13. The event was seen primarily from New York and Pennsylvania but people from Michigan, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, Ohio, Massachusetts, Delaware, Connecticut, West Virginia, Vermont, US and Ontario and Quebec, Canada also reported seeing it.
Nobody reported sound associated with the event but 17 people said they saw fragmentation.

"The preliminary 3D trajectory computed based on all the reports submitted to the AMS shows that the fireball was traveling from East to West and ended its flight somewhere East of Greenwood, NY," AMS said.
