Tornado recorded near the town of Santa María, Hidalgo, Mexico
An intense storm produced a photogenic tornado near the town of Santa María, Hidalgo, Mexico on March 14, 2023.
The tornado was recorded by motorists between the communities of Tepa El Grande and San Gabriel, in the municipality of Zempoala. According to municipal authorities, an intense hailstorm was also recorded in the area.
Despite the spectacular phenomenon, no injuries or damage were reported.
Just a day before, another tornado was reported in Atotonilco de Tula, Hidalgo. According to Tornados Mexico, it may have been a non-supercell tornado.
