Heavy flooding hits northern New York, U.S.
Heavy overnight rainfall caused emergency situation in Clinton County, northern New York, U.S. on July 2, 2023.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), the area saw between 102 – 178 mm (4 and 7 inches) of rain on July 2, resulting in heavy flooding and emergency rescues of people trapped by high flood waters.
