A very bright fireball was seen over central Italy at around 18:55 UTC on March 5, 2022. The event lasted for about 9 seconds.

The American Meteor Society (AMS) has received 203 reports from users in Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Slovenia and Croatia.
