A bright fireball streaked across the sky over Minnesota at around 08:03 UTC on May 9, 2021. The event lasted several seconds before the object fragmented and disintegrated.
The American Meteor Society (AMS) received 39 reports by early Monday morning, from users in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
