Heavy snowfall blocks multiple major roads in Algeria
Heavy snowfall hit several Algerian provinces on November 10 and 11, 2019, blocking several key roads and causing traffic disruption.
According to local reports, major national road 33, connecting Bouira to Tizi-Ouzu, was closed during the rush-hour on Monday morning, November 11. The RN30 was also closed, which was supposed to be an alternative route.

National road 15 near Iferhounene in the province of Tizi-Ouzou was also shut, as well as the RN109 connecting Sidi Bel Abbes and El-Bayadh. It was the same case for Road 172, located between Djbel Chelia and Lyabous.
