A very bright fireball streaked through the sky above of Santa Catarina, Brazil at around 21:40 UTC (18:40 local time) on March 24, 2019. The event lasted up to 7 seconds before the object disintegrated.
The American Meteor Society received 31 reports by 12:00 UTC, March 25. The event was seen by many residents of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina.
