A new ‘breathing’ vent formed a few days ago in Etna’s Bocca Nuova crater, one of the four summit craters of the volcano.
Some of these exhalations generate beautiful gas rings, INGV’s Boris Behncke reports. ” However, this is not a sign of imminent eruption.”
