Piton de la Fournaise volcano in Reunion started erupting on September 19, 2022, following a seismic crisis that started at 06:23 UTC.
Due to bad weather over the volcano, there were no webcam images of the initial eruption. Since then, the weather has cleared and we now have great imagery of the new eruption.
