A very bright fireball was seen over Brazil at 08:09 UTC on August 3, 2022. Pieces of the meteor are believed to be scattered around the city of Divinolândia.

The object entered the atmosphere on the border of the states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais, between the cities of Poços de Caldas and São João da Boa Vista, and exploded at a height of about 10 – 20 km (6.2 – 12.4 miles).

The preliminary analysis made by BRAMON indicates that fragments may have remained in the rural area of the city Divinolândia.
