Asteroid 2018 SN3 flew past Earth at 0.51 LD, 13th in 28 days

A newly discovered asteroid designated 2018 SN3 flew past Earth at 0.51 LD / 0.00131 AU (195 973 km / 121 772 miles) on September 16, 2018. This is now the 13th known asteroid to flyby Earth in September 2018 and 53rd since the start of the year.
2018 SN3 has an estimated diameter between 2.8 and 6.4 m (9 – 21 feet) and it belongs to the Apollo group of asteroids.
It flew past Earth at 20:23 UTC at a speed (relative to the Earth) of 4.04 km/s.
