A waterspout hit a beach in Veracruz, Mexico on August 11, 2022, surprising residents and tourists.

According to the Secretary of Civil Protection of Veracruz (SPC), the waterspout made landfall around 19:55 LT in front of the Villa del Mar beaches, weakening rapidly.

There are no reports of injuries.
